Happy Week 5!
The session is winding down, and learners are putting the finishing touches on their arcade games. The repeated testing and evaluating process has been a challenge for those who want to get it right the first time, but many learners have shown up for the challenge and really refined the process of their games. The exhibition should provide valuable real-world feedback on what makes an arcade game fun to play!
Just like last week, many of our learners have struggled mightily to find focus this week. The excess energy of late winter is spilling over into work times and discussions alike. At this moment, I’m listening to a town hall discussion where learners are discussing various options for people who are being distracting during discussions. This creative problem-solving process is likely one of the most important processes learners take part in, and it’s fascinating to watch the solutions they are coming up with! Next session, we’ll be shaking things up with some new challenges and incentives to add energy to our work times.
