Each time dawn appears, the mystery is there in its entirety.”

Hey everyone! Welcome to Session 6!
This session, learners are sharpening their observation and deduction skills by going through detective training. Detective training got started off with a bang when someone broke into the chief detective’s office and stole an important file. Luckily, there were fingerprints, footprints, and a handwriting sample left at the scene. Now, learners just have to figure out how to analyze them!
As we near the end of the year, learners are hard at work trying to finish the badge plans they set for themselves at the beginning of the year. For some, this will be a bigger job than others, but valuable real-world lessons are happening under our noses.
Questions we’ve explored this week
- Does other people’s behavior change more quickly when we give them positive reinforcement or negative feedback? Which is easier for you to give?
- What comes more naturally to you: noticing what people do right or noticing what people do wrong? Is this a skill we can change with practice?
Upcoming Events
- The Children’s Business Fair is coming right up! It will be held at Acton ABQ on April 22.
